About that Stimulus Payment…
The impact of COVID-19 has been devastating to working families, leaving many anxious to receive financial assistance. CFR is here to help individuals get their stimulus payment from the Federal government as soon as possible via direct deposit. If your clients used a Focus Card for the direct deposit of a 2018 or 2019 tax refund, the stimulus payment will be loaded to that card.
The IRS portal for Non-Filers is now live to update direct deposit information! If you have clients who do not have direct deposit information on file with the IRS, you can enroll them in the Focus Card to ensure they’re part of the first few waves of fund distributions. Clients can take the direct deposit information (routing number and account number) from their Focus Card enrollment and enter their payment information here.
If you have any constituents who’ve yet to file their taxes, please make sure to enroll them in the Focus Card so they can receive their economic impact payments through direct deposits and start to see some financial relief.
